WPC Co-Extrusion Decking 140 x 20 mm (3.576 kg/m) is the slim board in our dense co-extrusion range. It comes off the same core recipe as the 140 x 23 mm - a volumetric density of 1.277 g/cm3 against 1.280 - so the density is identical and only the height drops by 3 mm. Those 3 mm buy you three things: lower total weight per square metre (0.54 kg less per meter), which matters on rooftops, balconies and mezzanines with load limits; a deck that sits lower, so steps, edge trims and transitions to doors or interior floors are far easier to detail; and less material per square metre, for a friendlier purchase cost. The weather resistance comes from a shell that is grown onto the core during extrusion - one composite body with no interface to peel - so it will not delaminate or lift. No paint, no wax. The density of a solid co-extrusion board, with less height, less weight and less cost - that is the 140 x 20 mm.

Specifications
Co-extrusion decking (also known in the trade as "capped" decking) is the premium tier of WPC outdoor decking. A conventional WPC board is a single material extruded through and through — the board is only as good as the material.

Composite Decking
Description
A co-extruded board, by contrast, is built as two layers in one: as the core is extruded, a dense engineering-polymer cap is co-extruded onto its outer face simultaneously, fusing core and shell into one piece on the same production line — a bond that will never delaminate, peel or bubble.

Specifications
Composite decking retains the essence of natural wood while eliminating its downsides. It's constructed from a combination of wood fibers, recyclable plastic, and binder. As a result, composite decking has the rich beauty of wood but without the upkeep requirements. Capped composite decking allows you to enjoy the classic appearance of wood without the risk of warping or splintering.

Composite Decking
Inspiration
The composite decking is specifically engineered to endure the elements. It is long-lasting and resistant to the wear and tear that can occur with standard wood decking, regardless of whether it is hot in the summer, pouring rain, or frigid in the winter. With capped composite decking, you can say goodbye to rust, decay, and insect damage.
